William Nylander reportedly shut down a trade to this Western Conference team
The Toronto Maple Leafs continue to struggle with the decision of whether or not they'll trade William Nylander. It does however seem inevitable that William Nylander's time in Toronto is coming to an end. According to Hockey 24/7 on Twitter the Leafs had a deal in place to trade Nylander.
The reported deal was between the Leafs and Arizona Coyotes had a trade in place centered around Nylander that would've seen Clayton Keller go the other way. The deal however fell apart when Nylander was unwilling to extend with Arizona.
The @MapleLeafs and @ArizonaCoyotes explored a deal involving Nylander and Keller Nylander is unwilling to extend in Arizona as of now.
It seems that Nylander may actually want to remain in Toronto, but if the Leafs are actively shopping him it appears that both parties might be too far apart for a reunion.
