On Wednesday morning, general admission tickets for Games 3 and 4 at Rogers Place in Edmonton went on sale. Season ticket holders, however, had a special window where they had a presale code to access them for a set amount of time before the general public before that happened.
Some season ticket holders have resold their own tickets for nearly three times what they bought in order to make a profit, knowing that Edmonton supporters want to witness their team's first Stanley Cup Final participation in eighteen years.
World Hockey Report noted in a post on X that as of this afternoon, the lowest tickets being resold for Game 4 at Rogers Arena were over $1,200 Canadian in the upper bowl, with the bulk of seats in the 200s fetching over $1,500 CAD.
Fans will purchase these tickets without a doubt, even at their exorbitant price. For the Edmonton Oilers and their supporters, this is a significant series because it's their first Stanley Cup Final since 2006, when they were defeated in seven games by the Carolina Hurricanes. When it comes to getting into Rogers Arena for Games 3 and 4, which are scheduled for June 13 and June 15, respectively, these fans will stop at nothing.
