Patrick Laine makes huge announcement amid trade rumors
Patrick Laine is currently dealing with various trade rumors concerning the Columbus Blue Jackets, although amidst the chaos, he is celebrating a huge life event.
Today, it was revealed that Laine proposed to his longtime girlfriend Jordan Leigh. On Instagram, the two posted some beautiful photos of the two getting engaged. Laine proposed and Leigh said yes. Now, they will be looking to get married in 2025.
This is fantastic news for Laine, who was recently released from the NHLPA assistance program. As we reported yesterday, all rumors involving Laine and the Montreal Canadiens were shot down. However, teams like the Minnesota Wild are still showing interest.
We wish the couple nothing but the best, moving forward. Let us know if you think Laine will be traded soon, in the poll down below. Additionally, stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
