Robert Acri, the Director of Hockey Operations for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL, has been arrested on a misdemeanor prostitution charge.

According to reports, Acri was arrested in a sting operation. Authorities posed as prostitutes and advertised sexual acts for $100. Acri allegedly replied to the advertisement and when he showed up to the scene, the police arrested him immediately.
The team has suspended Acri until further notice and made a statement on what happened, on social media.
The Phantoms have learned that an employee has been arrested on misdemeanor prostitution charges. He has been suspended by the team pending an investigation. Our primary concern will always be the safety of our players, and we will continue to monitor the situation as it develops."

Only time will tell what happens here. After all, this is a misdemeanor charge which means it doesn't come with the harshest of penalties. That said, Acri's time with the Phantoms could be over as this is a high-profile situation.
What do you think of all of this? Does Acri deserve jail time if convicted? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
