Winnipeg Jets defenseman shockingly plays after life-altering event
Haydn Fleury of the Winnipeg Jets is one of the newer additions to the team this season and there is no doubt that he is trying to impress his new team.
We say that because it was reported today that Fleury's wife gave birth to their first child on Friday night. Overall, this is a huge event in any person's life, and it was expected that Fleury would not play tonight. After all, he ended up missing the morning skate.
However, according to reports, Fleury is playing tonight regardless. It just goes to show that he is dedicated to the sport, no matter what.
After his game today, he will have plenty of time to spend with his newborn son. Until then, he is looking to make a huge impression with the Jets. He is on a two-way deal, and there is no doubt that training camp will determine whether or not he starts the season on the Jets roster.
