San Jose Sharks acquire former first round pick in trade with Dallas Stars
On Wednesday afternoon, the San Jose Sharks and Dallas Stars came together to finalize a deal.
The San Jose Sharks revealed via a social media post that they had acquired forward Ty Dellandrea from the Dallas Stars for a 2025 NHL Entry Draft fifth-round pick.
"Welcome to the #SJSharks Ty! 🦈
The Sharks have acquired forward Ty Dellandrea from the Stars in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round selection (Winnipeg's selection)."
Dellandrea, 23, was drafted by the Stars 13th overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and has appeared in 151 games with them between 2020-21 and 2023-24, putting up 42 points (14 goals, 28 assists) and 100 penalty minutes.
