Suter's contract is worth $775K, but with performance bonuses, he can earn up to $2.225 million based on various factors.
At 39, Suter played in all 82 games for the Dallas Stars last season, tallying two goals and 15 assists for a total of 17 points. Known primarily as a stay-at-home defenseman throughout his career, Suter now finds himself being paid by three separate NHL teams due to buyouts and signed contracts.
Joining the Blues, Suter will bring valuable veteran experience to the team's defense while securing significant playing time. His presence is expected to bolster the Blues' back end as they aim to make a strong push in the upcoming season.
