Jaromir Jagr defies the odds and scores a goal at 52 years old: watch

Overall, he scored over 1900 points in the NHL and is one of the league's all-time leading goal-scorers. While Alexander Ovechkin and Wayne Gretzky are above him, there is no doubt that Jagr knew how to put the puck in the net. Now, Jagr is 52 years old and is play for the Kladno Knights of the Czech league. Jagr co-owns the team and he has acted as an owner-player for years.

The other day, Jagr notched an assist while also revealing that he would retire at the end of this season. Today, Jagr scored a goal in his second game of the season.

It was a chippy one but he kept pounding at the goalie and got what he wanted. Interestingly enough, Jagr did not score a single goal all of last season. Meanwhile, he only had four assists in 15 games. Now, he has a total of two points in two games, which is pretty solid work considering his age.

Of course, this will be a very special season for Jagr and we're sure his teammates will do their best to help him celebrate. That is going to mean feeding him the puck and scoring goals whenever he graces them with a pass. Either way, we cannot wait to see what he does next.
