Insider reveals 2 Canadian teams trying hard to make trades
NHL Training Camps will begin in approximately two weeks. With multiple teams still over the cap there is a real opportunity for teams with cap space to capitalize on teams seeking relief. With other teams also looking to make room for their own restricted free agents we will begin to see movement in the coming days.
On today's episode of the 32 Thoughts Podcast, Insider Elliotte Friedman revealed that two Canadian teams are aggressively trying to work the phones to try and create some action.
On Elliotte Friedmans 32 Thoughts Podcast, he says the Ottawa Senators and Vancouver Canucks are two significant players to watch in the coming days as NHL trade talks heat up across the league.
The Senators need to create cap space if the team wants to sign Shane Pinto, while rumors have swirled all summer that the Vancouver Canucks are trying to move Tyler Myers. With so many teams sitting at or near the salary cap ceiling the next few weeks could create some real excitement among fans.
The market is bound to pickup and when it does, things will surely get exciting.
