The 2023/24 NHL season gets underway in exactly one week. Tuesday was another busy day in terms of the league's waiver wire as teams continue to finalize their rosters for opening night.
According to Chris Johnston of TSN, 13 players have been placed on waivers. Today's list is headlines by Ottawa Senators defensive prospect Jacob Bernard-Docker and former starting goalie Cal Petersen. Let's take a look at all players on Tuesday's wire:
Waiver priority will remain the same until the end of October, the order of teams that can place a claim is based off of last season's standings in reverse. The Anaheim Ducks continue to have the first crack at placing a claim on any of the players above, followed by the Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks.
If any of the players above go unclaimed on Wednesday afternoon, they'll be assigned to their respective teams American Hockey League affiliate.
