Erik Karlsson traded in blockbuster deal
It finally happened, after months of speculation the San Jose Sharks have officially traded Erik Karlsson. Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports, Erik Karlsson is being traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, with the Montreal Canadiens acting as financial brokers.
The massive challenge surrounding this trade was always Karlsson's cap hit - 11 million dollars over the next years.
