Overall, fans have been curious as to what is next for Pare. He was cut by the Toronto Maple Leafs and sent down to the AHL to go play with the Toronto Marlies. At this stage, there are no real plans for the Leafs to call him up immediately. He has mostly been relegated to the AHL throughout his career and that probably won't be changing anytime soon.
Tonight, Pare found himself in the midst of a pretty embarrassing circumstance. During a game between the Marlies and the Belleville Senators, Pare dropped the gloves with fan favorite Djibril Toure. However, Toure absolutely clobbered Pare and it wasn't exactly close.

This is not a good look for Pare who is already dealing with some of the embarrassment that came with his bad loss at the hands of Xhekaj. Now that he has lost badly to yet another combatant, one has to wonder if he should just stop fighting altogether. Although if he does that, perhaps he will even lose his AHL role.
it is never easy when you are trying to make a name for yourself in the NHL. These kinds of things end up happening. For Pare, they seem to be happening all too often at this point.
