Quentin Musty was a first-round pick of the San Jose Sharks in 2023 as he went 26th overall.

Musty has been playing for the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League. In 2023-24, Musty had an incredible year as he scored 102 points in just 53 games. This included a total of 43 goals as well as 59 assists. However, it appears as though he is no longer happy in Sudbury. He has requested a trade from the team
Miraculously, this news is coming from the mouth of Jeff Marek. Marek has been on a huge hiatus ever since he was fired from Sportsnet. The reasoning for Marek's firing has been debated quite a bit as of late. However, here is no denying that the fans absolutely adore him.
As for Musty, this probably won't affect his career. He is in his final years of OHL eligibility and after this season, he will look to either secure a spot with the Sharks or develop in the AHL. However, a solid final year in the OHL could certainly go a long way in proving that he is ready for the big leagues.
We wish Musty the best of luck for this upcoming season. Hopefully, he gets his wish and finds a new home sooner rather than later. This is not the kind of situation that you want to have drag on for a long period of time.
