The Ottawa Senators Place 27-Year Old Forward On Waivers
The waiver wire saw more action on Tuesday, with the Ottawa Senators making moves a day after a comeback victory against the Nashville Predators.
As reported by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Senators have placed 27-year-old forward Rourke Chartier on waivers with the intention of assigning him to the American Hockey League's Belleville Senators.
"Chartier (OTT) on waivers," Friedman shared in a post on X.»
Chartier, signed by the Ottawa Senators in July 2022, had been part of their NHL roster for the entire 2023-24 season until this point. In 34 games this season, the Saskatoon native has recorded three points (one goal, two assists), 14 penalty minutes, and holds a minus-three rating.
