San Jose Sharks Head Coach Forced To Step Away From The NHL
In a significant development for the NHL, it's been announced that San Jose Sharks head coach, David Quinn, is gearing up for a major medical procedure.
"Sharks head coach David Quinn will undergo hip replacement surgery."
Considering the Sharks' season wasn't exactly on the upswing, even if Quinn ends up sidelined for a substantial period, it's unlikely to change the trajectory for San Jose.
There's a notable interest in Macklin Celebrini, and while their draft position hinges on the lottery, the team seems to be fully committed, going so far as to place their head coach on the Injured Reserve.
The duration of Quinn's absence remains uncertain, but it's noteworthy that his surgery is strategically scheduled just before the all-star break.
