The last time the Calgary Flames faced off against the Columbus Blue Jackets, it was the buzzer-beating hit from Rasmus Andersson on Patrik Laine that stirred up quite a controversy, resulting in a four-game suspension for Andersson and keeping Laine out of the lineup.

Now, it's evident that a score needs settling when these two teams meet again.
Patrik Laine expressed his anticipation for the upcoming clash, stating,
"The only thing I have to say, I'm pretty excited to play him in January. I'll just leave it at that." According to Jeff Svoboda of BlueJackets.com, Laine considered the hit "unnecessary."
The hit, where Andersson left his feet to crush Laine in the final seconds of their previous encounter, led to a suspension and subsequent appeal.
Despite the controversy, Laine is now back in action after being taken off IR, and the game on January 11th promises to be must-see TV as Laine and the Blue Jackets seek revenge.
