Colorado's Head Coach Releases Unfortunate Update Regarding Lehkonen
Avs Coach Jared Bednar shared an update on Artturi Lehkonen's>/b> condition after the forward collided headfirst into the boards.
While Lehkonen was responsive at the hospital, Bednar acknowledged the severity of the situation, stating that Lehkonen will be sidelined for "weeks."
"[He's] not great. We're still gathering information, but he's going to miss weeks. No timeline yet."
Although Bednar didn't specify the exact nature of the injury, he did provide some reassurance, mentioning it's not a head injury, which is a positive development. However, the indication suggests Lehkonen may be contending with broken bones, requiring time for recovery.
Despite the challenging circumstances, the update provides some relief compared to a potentially worse scenario for the Colorado Avalanche.
