Montreal Canadiens & Pittsburgh Penguins trade proposal surfaces online

NHL training camps have officially started and there are a whole bunch of trade rumors emerging from some of the best and most iconic teams in the league.

For instance, NHL Trade Rumour has come through with an interesting proposal concerning the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Ultimately, it isn't much of a blockbuster deal when you consider the names involved. However, there are enough pieces being implicated to make this kind of interesting.

As you will read, it involves some roster players, as well as some recent draft picks.

To Montreal:

- Kevin Hayes
- Harrison Brunicke (2024 second-round pick)
- 2026 fourth-round pick

To Pittsburgh:

- Christian Dvorak
- Dmitri Kostenko (2021 third-round pick)

This is just a proposal, so take it with a grain of salt. That said, this could definitely be a big move for both teams if it were to happen. Only time will tell whether or not both of these franchises decide to make a move.
