Game 2 of the second-round series between the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks lived up to its hype.

In the second period, with the score knotted at 2, tensions ran high after both teams voiced concerns to the refs about missed calls.

Things escalated quickly, resulting in a full-on brawl along the boards, surprisingly involving Oilers' stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.

It took the refs the entire commercial break to break up the scuffle, and upon review, the Oilers gained a power-play advantage.

Adding to the chaos, McDavid drew blood from Canucks' captain Quinn Hughes shortly after the brawl, yet it went unnoticed by the officials.

Despite the advantage, Edmonton failed to convert on the power-play, leading to a four-on-four situation. Shortly after, the Canucks capitalized, taking a 3-2 lead courtesy of Nikita Zadorov. However when the night came to an end the Oilers came out with a 4-3 victory, tying the series at 1-1.
