Tragedy Strikes Don Cherry's Family with the Passing of His Daughter Cynthia
Canadian icon Don Cherry, once a staple on "Coaches Corner" on Hockey Night in Canada, now known for his "Grapevine Podcast," is facing a personal tragedy. This week, it was revealed that Cherry's daughter, Cynthia, has passed away.
The heartbreaking news was shared on X, detailing Cynthia's unexpected death.
Passed away unexpectedly at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the age of 67.
She was dearly loved by her son Del (Caroline Lyczek), and his father Roger. Much loved daughter of Don and the late Rose. Dear sister of Tim (Ling), and aunt of Grace.
Cynthia was 67 years old at the time of her passing. The loss has undoubtedly left a significant void in the Cherry family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Don Cherry and his family during this profoundly difficult time.
