Fan shares photo of new Phil Kessel tattoo; hopefully he realized that tattoos are permanent
Hockey fans are some of the most loyal and passionate fans you'll find. Some commit large portions of their income to buying season tickets, some travel from city to city, watching their favourite team play on the road and some even permanently wear their fandom on their skin in the form of a tattoo.
Recently, a Phil Kessel fan unveiled his new tribute tattoo for the 3-time Stanley Cup champion in honour of this Stanley Cup win with the Vegas Golden Knights this season. There are good tattoos and there are bad tattoos. This one falls somewhere in the middle. Take a look.
I seriously hope that this fan understands that tattoos are permanent. Obviously, at the very least, this one is a conversation piece. Kessel, the NHL's Ironman, has played in 1,064 regular season games. He has amassed nearly 1,000 career points. His accomplishments on the ice speak for themselves. Still, though, of all of the hockey tattoos a person could get, I'm sure that a Phil Kessel tattoo doesn't rank very high on the list of popular options.
