Carter Hart could still be traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs
The Toronto Maple Leafs are scheduled to face off in arbitration with Ilya Samsonov tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock. According to Samsonov's agent the two parties aren't close on a new deal. However, those things can change on a moments notice.
However according to Dylan Robillard, a writer for Brotherly Puck, there is a possibility of a trade between the Maple Leafs and Flyers. The deal could potentially bring goaltender Carter Hart to the Maple Leafs, in a deal that would likely see the Leafs shed Matt Murray and Samsonov's contracts.
Carter Hart could still be moved to #LeafsForever
Ilya Samsonov is reportedly not close to re-signing Leafs don't have the cap to give him close to $4.9M. Meaning, Matt Murray could be shipped off in a 3-way-deal to make room for Carter Hart.
Brad Treliving has clearly been hard at work trying to rebuild the Maple Leafs roster after the team failed multiple times under Kyle Dubas to meet that expectations set out for the team.
