There is a very sad ending to the story of a 15-year-old young hockey player who went missing over a week ago. Police in Sweden are now treating the junior player's disappearance as a homicide, and arrests have been made.
Over the weekend, the Frolunda Hockey Club issued a statement that the team was in mourning after police found the body of a 15-year-old they are only calling "Henrik," who had gone missing last Monday. Henrik played for Frolunda's youth team.
Police made the announcement that three people, all minors, had been arrested in connection with the death. Two were let go without any charges, while a 16-year-old is being held on suspicion of murder.
Police say everyone arrested knew Henrik before he went missing. Our thoughts are with Henrik's family, friends, and teammates at this difficult time.
