Canucks forward Pius Suter exits game after taking puck to the face
Game five in Vancouver kicked off with explosive energy, but the Canucks' aggressive play quickly took a concerning turn. In a chaotic moment early in the game, a stray puck changed the course of the night for one of their key players.
As the Canucks pressed hard in the offensive zone, defenseman Carson Soucy launched a powerful shot from the blue line. Tragically, the puck veered off course and struck forward Pius Suter in the head, sending him to the ice covered in blood.

Suter was swiftly helped off the ice and headed straight to the locker room for medical attention.
The incident, captured and replayed by the team at Canucks Army, showed Soucy's unintentional but dangerous hit on Suter.
This unfortunate event is likely to reignite ongoing debates about player safety and the need for protective measures in the NHL.
