If an agreement is reached by both parties, an insider has disclosed what Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi's future contracts with the Toronto Maple Leafs would entail.

The Toronto Maple Leafs�signed free agents Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi to one year contracts last�summer. Both players may once again�become free agents this summer after their�one-year contracts of the "prove it" variety. It is obvious, nevertheless, that the Maple Leafs would like�to keep one or both players long-term.

The Maple Leafs are aggressively negotiating to sign Bertuzzi and Domi to long-term contracts worth between $5 and $6 million, according to Pierre Lebrun of TSN.

If an agreement is reached by both parties, an insider has disclosed what Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi's future contracts with the Toronto Maple Leafs would entail.

The 29-year-old Bertuzzi scored 21 goals and added 22 assists for a total of 43 points in 80 games for the Leafs last season.

The previous season, Domi, 29, skated in 80 games for the Leafs, with just 9 goals and 38 assists for a total of 47 points.

Last year, I believe that both Domi and Bertuzzi had sluggish starts to the season before finding their strengths in the latter stages. Although they both contributed significantly to the Leafs' new image, I think that paying them both $5�$6 million a year is excessive.
