Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers were in a tough battle for the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers.

In the end, the Panthers won in seven games. However, it was an iconic series as the Oilers went down 0-3. Eventually, they marched back and it looked like for a second there, they were going to pull out a win. In the end, it was Florida who excelled in the final game and completely shut the Oilers down, almost for good.
Recently, it was revealed that the Cup Finals would be a huge part of the new Amazon Prime show, "Faceoff." In a recent teaser clip, McDavid could be seen going off on his teammates for their lack of effort after a loss in Game 2. Now, the entire clip has been unveiled.
Seldom do we ever see this kind of energy from McDavid. He is usually a reserved guy who leads by example. That said, you can tell that the Stanley Cup had him under a different mindset. He wanted to show his teammates that he had that kind of fire in him. While the team lost the next game, something certainly woke up inside of them.
Heading into this season, the Oilers will look to show the league that they mean business and can get it done this time around. If they don't McDavid and Leon Draisaitl could be facing some big questions.
