It's no secret that the Boston Bruins have chosen to work their goaltenders differently then other teams in the NHL. This has led to an unusual decision that head coach Jim Montgomery will need to make on whether to stay with Jeremy Swayman for Game 2 or turn to Linus Ullmark.

After their debacle against the Florida Panthers last year as the team mismanaged their goaltending, the Bruins have gone to a shared goalie system where each goaltender will have one game every two starts. This has led to many discussions after game one where the Bruins beat up the Maple Leafs 5-1 Swayman gave a convincing argument to remain in the net.
It seems odd that you would not go with the winning hand that looked quite comfortable in net and gave the Maple Leafs shooters trouble. But head coach Montgomery has a system he likes to follow and it's certainly possible that they may go with all mark in Game 2 and keep things status quo.
Swayman's performance on home ice was outstanding as he faced 37 shots and only allowed one goal for a save percentage of .972.
Game 2 will be on Monday night and game time will begin at 7:00 PM eastern.
