Washington Capitals announce awesome fan giveaway inspired by Sonny Milano
Ahead of next season the Washington Capitals released their promotional calendar. The calendar features all the giveaways for the upcoming season and among the giveaways is a Sonny Milano inspired chia pet giveaway
Milano has become very popular and recognized around the league for his patented hair cut.
The Caps will complete the giveaway night will take place at the Capital One Arena on January 11, 2024, during the game against the Seattle Kraken. The Chia Pet allows fans to grow a flowering plant on top of a terracotta figurine, emulating Milano's distinctive curly hair.
In his first season in Washington, Milano, 27, scored 11 goals and 33 points in 64 games while averaging only 12:54 in ice time.
