Jamie Drysdale spotted in another NHL city as his holdout continues
The NHL regular season is just over two weeks away, and the Anaheim Ducks still have two holdouts. The Ducks two holdouts are former 6th overall pick Jamie Drysdale and former 9th overall pick Trevor Zegras. Both players are without contracts for next season and according to reports neither are close to new deals.
Today one of the Ducks holdouts was spotted skating in Toronto. Drysdale has been spotted practicing with the Toronto Metropolitan University Men's Hockey Team.
This is the second unsigned free agent spotted in Toronto in recent days as Patrick Kane was recently spotted skating there as well. Kane is said to still be about a month away from returning to the ice.
Having both Zegras and Drysdale absent for training camp is not a great look for Anaheim, and one that has fans nervous. Drysdale had been working out in California, but has since come back to his home base of Toronto, a possible sign that the two sides aren't even close to a new deal.
