Robin Lehner's time in Vegas has not exactly been what many would call ideal. First, there was the goaltending controversy involving he and Marc-Andre Fleury. Then there was his shoulder injury and yo-yo reporting over whether or not he was actually healthy enough to play and it all culminated with Lehner missing the entire 2022-23 season.

The Lehner saga in Vegas has now taken yet another turn. The Golden Knights had revealed their training camp roster on Wednesday and Lehner's name was nowhere to be found.

Lehner's absence last season was due to him having undergone double hip surgery, and there's no word on when or if he might return. He's also faced some personal turmoil, filing for bankruptcy and being accused of fraud by some creditors.

While some had criticized Vegas for picking the wrong goalie when they kept Lehner over Fleury, it all turned out just fine for Vegas in the absence of both veteran goaltenders. The 6th-year franchise won a Stanley Cup last season on the backs of Logan Thompson, Laurent Brossoit and, of course, Adin Hill.

Lehner has this season and next remaining on his current deal, with a cap hit of $5 million per season. At this point, he's most likely going to ride it out on LTIR, unless something major changes.
