The Toronto Maple Leafs had high expectations when they brought in Ryan Reaves as the rugged enforcer, hoping to add some toughness to the team. However, it's turned into a bit of a nightmare for the Leafs as Reaves has been in and out of the lineup and even the subject of waiver rumors.

Despite facing criticism from Leafs fans, the charismatic enforcer remains unfazed. After sitting out a game against the New York Rangers, Reaves returned to the lineup, but unfortunately, his poor skating skills caught up with him in the first period.

As Reaves headed towards the boards, it looked like he caught an edge and collided hard with the wall. After the collision, he attempted to skate off the ice but was unsuccessful. Following an examination by the team trainer, Reaves had to be helped off the ice by teammates. The hope is that it's not as bad as it seems, but it's certainly not looking good.

After being assisted off the ice, Reaves tried to tough it out and walk down the tunnel. Unfortunately, it seemed he might have taken on more than he could handle as his ankle appeared to give way. In a video, Reaves is seen taking a tumble down the stairs on his way to the Leafs room.

We hope this fall didn't worsen any injuries, but it does raise the question: who thought putting stairs there was a good idea?
