An Unexpected Turn Of Events As Alex DeBrincat Drops Predators Captain
When you think of players like Alex DeBrincat, the last thing that comes to mind is their ability to throw punches during a game. Their primary role is to score goals, not engage in fisticuffs, but sometimes, unexpected moments happen.
Tonight, the Nashville Predators faced off against the Detroit Red Wings, and surprisingly, Alex DeBrincat and Predators star defenseman Roman Josi dropped the gloves; check it out.
The two stars seemed to exchange words during a stoppage in play before DeBrincat decided to throw down, and Josi obliged, leading to a brief tussle.
The fight didn't go on for too long, but DeBrincat landed the majority of the punches before taking Josi down to the ice.
It's the kind of moment that the players on the bench must've relished. Anytime two stars engage in a fight, it adds excitement, and seeing them hold their own, even if it's not a common occurrence, injects energy into the team.
