Corey Perry and the Edmonton Oilers lost the Stanley Cup Finals in devastating fashion this past year, against the Florida Panthers.
They were down 0-3 in the series but came back to shock the world and deliver a truly incredible series. However, they came up short in Game 7. Below, you can see never-before-seen footage of the Oilers in the locker room following the loss.
One player's reaction stands out, and that would be Perry. Of course, Perry has been to numerous Cup Finals over the past five years and has lost all of them. This led to some less-than-complimentary words from haters online.
"Perry must be immune to that feeling by now"
"Perry is like, 'it's fine guys, I do this all the time.'"
"Not Corey Perry plotting what team to bamboozle into taking him to a final next year."
Next season, it will be interesting to see what Perry decides to do. He is a player who can still be an asset, but he is aging, and aging fast.
