Sidney Crosby's Bold Locker Room Speech Sends Shockwaves Through Team Canada

had the honor of being captain for Team Canada one last time this year, and he proved that he it still an amazing leader.
Last night, Sidney Crosby may have worn the 'C' for team Canada on the international stage for the last time in his career.
He made the most out of the experience, tying Connor McDavid for the team lead in points and leading the team to the championship.
Apparently, he made a very strong speech that motivated his teammates, pushing them over the edge against Team USA in the finals.
With 18 years of experience as captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins and numerous appearances as Captain for Team Canada, it should come as no surprise that he was able to rally the troops.
That being said, the way he did it this time may come as a surprise to many.
The 37-year-old openly admitted that he was not going to win with the Penguins this year, so he wanted to win this tournament really badly.
"Crosby told everyone in the locker room: 'I'm not going to win with the Penguins this year. So this event (4 Nations), I want to win it.'" - Stéphane Leroux
The final was a closely fought game, but luckily for Crosby and the rest of Team Canada, Connor McDavid was Johnny on the spot in overtime, scoring the golden goal for his 5th point of the event.
As if it wasn't already obvious enough, this victory is another feather in the cap for Crosby as he is destined for the Hockey Hall of Fame.
In fact, he now has more Gold Medals with Team Canada than Team USA does in their entire history, proving just how dominant of a player he has been.
Crosby's next chance to play for Team Canada will come during next year's Winter Olympics.
By that point he will be 38 years old, and may not be a guarantee to even make the team. If he doesn't than this will be an amazing end to his international career, but hopefully we will get to see him wear that Team Canada jersey one last time.
