The NHL Has Made A Decision Following Brad Marchand's Dangerous Trip
Brad Marchand, known for his eventful NHL history, once again found himself at the center of attention during a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In the first period, Marchand's tussle with Leafs' defenseman Timothy Liljegren raised eyebrows. Marchand's stick appeared to become entangled between Liljegren's legs, with an ensuing move that some fans interpreted as questionable.
Calls for Marchand's suspension quickly spread among fans. Yet, despite the uproar, the NHL Department of Player Safety, after 5 pm Eastern, decided against issuing any penalties or fines to the Bruins' captain. While Maple Leafs fans may have disagreed, it appears the league saw this as the right call, ending this chapter of Marchand's eventful career.
