Ahead of tonight's matchup between the Maple Leafs and the Minnesota Wild, many are expecting former Wild winger Ryan Reaves to take it easy on his former teammates in Minnesota. However, Reaves has already made his intentions know and dropped an absolutely ruthless quote about how he plans to approach this game. Unfortunately for the Wild, he won't be taking it easy on anyone.

"Sometimes when you're better friends with them, you want to lay them out a little more. Unfortunately for them, I became pretty good friends with all of them." - Reaves on wanting to play extra physical against his former team tonight

After racking up 153 hits in 61 games as a member of the Wild last season, the guys in that locker room know exactly what Reavo is all about. Unfortunately for them, there are also a number of other antagonists they'll have to deal with in Toronto tonight as well, as Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi will also be buzzing around out there looking to get under the skin of the Wild. The Leafs also called up bruising defenseman Simon Benoit this morning, which is yet another guy who loves to crash and bang, with Benoit having racked up 216 hits with the Ducks last season.
Obviously, the Wild have a few big boys who can handle themselves in Marcus Foligno, Pat Maroon and Ryan Hartman, so I don't think anyone will be overly intimidated, which could mean a lot of extra-curricular activity after the whistle tonight.
