Logan Cooley may have just scored goal of the year while most fans were asleep
The NHL hosted its first preseason game of the year last night between the Los Angeles Kings and the Arizona Coyotes. The two teams faced off in Brisbane, Australia as the NHL continue to try and grow the game. Due to the games location though the game didn't begin until midnight Eastern time. So while Logan Cooley was putting up a goal of the year candidate, the majority of NHL fans were sleeping.
11 minutes into the 2nd period, the 2022 3rd overall pick scored what is easily already a goal of the year contender.
Cooley has been a human highlight reel every where that he's played at and it looks like that is going to continue at the NHL level as well.
