Player suspended after dangerous hit from behind leaves player shaken up
From a very young age players are taught to not hit another player when they see his number. Pavel Koledov appears to have not received that message. In a recent game for the KHL's Salavat Yulaev, Koledov threw a dangerous hit that resulted in his ejection.
Koledov somehow appears to have gotten off easy though receiving only a one game suspension for his hit on fellow blueliner Artem Serikov of Nizhnekamsk.
Serikov was left bloodied after hitting his face on the glass. Luckily, Serikov would be alright and would end up returning to the game. Koledov would be ejected from the game, and he would also receive an undisclosed monetary fine.
Was one game enough for this hit?
