BREAKING: Severe Weather Forces Game to Be Pushed Back
Southern Ontario has seen a rollercoaster of weather this weekend, with heavy snow, rain, and wind wreaking havoc. On the other side of the border, the NFL even had to reschedule a game to Monday afternoon due to the conditions.
Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to face the Detroit Red Wings at Scotiabank Arena, but it seems the weather has prompted a slight adjustment to the start time.
As reported by TSN's Chris Johnston, the Maple Leafs vs. Red Wings game has been pushed back to 7:30 p.m. ET, originally slated for 7 p.m. ET. The shift is attributed to the impact of the winter storm on Detroit's travel plans.
"Tonight's Leafs-Red Wings game has been pushed back to 7:30 p.m. -- it sounds like the winter storm affected Detroit's travel plans."
This marks the second of three encounters between Toronto and Detroit this season. In the initial meeting back in November, the Maple Leafs secured a 3-2 victory.
