Warren Foegele ejected for knee-on-knee early in Game 2
Midway during the first quarter of Game 2 between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers, forward Warren Foegele is ejected.
Early in the first quarter of tonight's game, Warren Foegele has given up due to the intensity of Game 2. Eetu Luostarinen, a Panthers defender, moves, and Foegele stretches out his leg and lands a nasty knee-on-knee hit.
Warren Foegele gets a 5 minute major and a game misconduct for kneeing on Eetu Luostarinen
On the play Foegele was given a five minute major and a game misconduct. Eetu Luostarinen left the ice under assistance of the trainers, but has since returned to the game.
Foegele, who fills a depth position for the Oilers, has only managed one goal and two assists in 16 postseason games this season. Luostarinen has two goals and five helpers in eighteen games.
