Two American Franchises Place Forwards On Waivers
Two iconic NHL teams, the Detroit Red Wings and the Boston Bruins, have made moves by placing players on waivers today.
Detroit and Boston Place Forwards on Waivers
Insider Elliotte Friedman has just revealed today's waiver placements, and it's noteworthy that two original six franchises are involved.
Steen (BOS) & Luff (DET) on waivers
Oskar Steen, who has seen action in 34 games this season with the Bruins, has only managed to find the back of the net once. Despite his limited ice time, averaging under 10 minutes per game, Steen continues to contribute to the team's efforts.
On the other hand, Matt Luff has faced setbacks this season, having been sidelined due to injury during training camp. Last season, he played 19 games with the Red Wings, demonstrating some offensive prowess with 2 goals and 4 points.
Notably, Luff is now with his third franchise, previously playing for the Kings and Predators in his career.
