The first logo for Utah, which will only be used temporarily for 20242025, was revealed on Friday. Utah is scheduled to join the National Hockey League in the fall.

'Hockey Jerseyz', an account on social media, posted a picture of Utah's 202425 season logo along with the colors they will wear in their first year of play.

A narrower black or navy blue circle sits inside the sky blue circle that serves as the logo. On the inside of the circle, 'UTAH' is also written in black or navy blue. Above and below, the words 'HOCKEY' and 'CLUB' are written in white.

@HKYJersey shared that the logo is being used and has been added to the National Hockey League's API.

"#BREAKING: The Utah HC logo has been discovered and is currently being used, as it's been added to the NHL assets API.

We might be looking at the color scheme/ logo Utah will use next season."

Reminder: Utah's branding will exclusively use their state name and "Hockey Club" during their inaugural NHL season. Until the 202526 season, Utah's franchise will not have a team name or logos/colors. Professional sports teams take a long time to build their branding, and it takes even longer to obtain something an organization likes.

Earlier this week, owner Ryan Smith revealed that they are down to four team names including Yeti and Mammoth. It's unclear when the organization will officially announce their decision, but it likely won't be until later this year.

Utah is scheduled to play their home opener at Salt Lake City's Delta Center in October. In order to be competitive right away, the team plans to be rather active and aggressive this summer in both the trade and free agency markets.
