Mitch Marner spotted in public having coffee with newest member of Leafs
Although Mitch Marner's name has been linked to trade speculations, he was seen having coffee with Craig Berube, the new head coach, today.
Rumors have been circulating since the Toronto Maple Leafs' season concluded, suggesting that one key player may be traded. The majority of reports link the experienced forward. The player most likely to move is Mitch Marner. But what was witnessed today may effectively put an end to some of these trade rumors.
Marner was seen enjoying coffee today with Craig Berube, the recently hired head coach of the Maple Leafs. It is anticipated that the two discussed Marner's possible role in the Maple Leafs organization for the next season.

Although it sounds like the Maple Leafs intend to part ways with the other three members of the Core Four, it still seems like Captain John Tavares leaving the team the next season is the most likely scenario. With one season left on his deal, Tavares would be a good candidate to relocate in order to free up more than $11 million in salary space.
Despite all of these reports, it will be intriguing to watch what the Maple Leafs decide to do with their radius.
