Last night, numerous teams held moments of silence for the two brothers. Meanwhile, there are plans for the Columbus Blue Jackets to make multiple tributes for Johnny Hockey. Fans are excited to take part as they want to make sure that Gaudreau is honored as respectfully as humanly possible.
Interestingly enough, Gaudreau's father Guy was recently invited to a practice of the Philadelphia Flyers. Below, you can see some of the footage. He was the team's guest, and he got to help the team with drills.
Guy Gaudreau was a hockey player himself. Moreover, the Flyers were one of Gaudreau's favorite teams growing up. Having said that, it makes sense that he would be invited to take part in this. It was a really cool move from the Flyers, and we are glad that it came to fruition.
Our heart continues to go out to the Gaudreau family and the entire hockey community during this very difficult time. There is no denying that the two brothers meant a lot to so many people.
