These two teams clearly do not like each other very much and it was apparent thanks to this scrap. Interestingly enough, it was Grande Prairie who won the game by a score of 7-2. It was a pretty bad blowout for the Dragons, but at the end of the day, all of the attention was on the duel between the two goaltenders. It seemed like a whole lot of fun and there is no doubt that the fans in attendance were treated to a show.
While we cannot show you the fight directly, you can watch it over at the link below. The fight was between goaltenders Nicholas Jones and Sean Cootes. It was a pretty spirited scrap, and we're sure their teammates were appreciative of the effort that was put in here. Although it cannot be easy to do that with so much gear on.

We don't see goalie fights all that often when it comes to the NHL these days. However, in the junior game, it still does appear to be pretty prevalent. One has to wonder why that is the case. Either way, it is definitely something that puts on a show for all of the fans out there.
Hopefully, the game never outlaws this kind of thing. Sure, it might take away from the actual hockey being played, but at the end of the day, you got to have at least a little bit of fun from time to time. What is interesting, however, is that both teams get to do it all again on Saturday night. Should be quite the show.
