The newest and tallest NHL goalie, who plays for the Philadelphia Flyers, will get his 1st NHL start against the Buffalo Sabres.
Former CSKA Moscow goalie gets his dream come true, as not only is his future with the team in the works, but he gets his 1st official NHL start tonight.
The Philadelphia Flyers are in the push for a playoff spot this season, despite no one expecting them to be there, after they lost Carter Hart.
With their newest and freshest goalie in the rotation, they hope they can get the help to defeat the Buffalo Sabres tonight.
The Sabres are not the same deadly organization as they were last year, but Tortorella wants to see the team do better, and they need to do better in front of Fedotov to win tonight.
Fedotov started 44 games in the KHL for CSKA Moscow and finished his season there, with a 2.37 GAA, a .914 save percentage, and a 21-22-1 record.
In the KHL playoffs, he played 5 games, posting an even better 2.57 GAA, a .916 save percentage, and 1 shutout, with a 1-4-0 record.
As of writing this right now, the Flyers and Sabres are tied 0-0 in the 1st period with 17:10 left.
