Evander Kane's status for Game 6 revealed
Evander Kane was not present in the Edmonton Oilers' line rushes prior to Game 6 as they were ready to play the Florida Panthers.
Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers is set for tomorrow night. The Oilers have heroically battled back to win two straight games after falling behind three games to none. The Oilers will have to win this series as it is returning to Alberta.
The Oilers have struggled with several injuries during the playoffs, including Evander Kane's. attempting to heal an injury to the abdomen. Sadly, Kane had to miss the last two games since it had recently gotten to be too much for him.
Looking at line rushes today and it looks like Evander Kane won't play tomorrow. @EdmontonOilers
At points during the playoffs, Kane was unable to even sit on the Oilers bench due to the pain he was in. At this point it is better that he does not participate if he's not able to provide the physical play and scoring touch that he is known for. Game 6 goes tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
