Tomorrow night, the Boston Bruins and the Florida Panthers are supposed to take part in their season openers, with the game going down in Florida.

However, it would appear as though there are some fears around the league that the game could be canceled and subsequently postponed. This report comes from Jimmy Murphy, who noted that there is a chance the Bruins will have to return home. They are already in Florida and are prepared to play the game no matter what.
Hurricanes have ravaged the southeastern United States over the last couple of weeks. First, it was Hurricane Helene. Now, Hurricane Milton is threatening to do some significant damage. However, Boston Globe reporter Jim McBride says fans shouldn't get too worried just yet.
According to sources around the NHL, the league fully intends on playing tomorrow's game. However, they are monitoring the situation and will make a change if they deem it necessary. For now, however, it seems as though they are ready to push through and get the game going.
Only time will tell what happens next. We just hope that everyone in the area is able to stay safe during this very difficult time. You never want to see this kind of stuff happen.
