By now, the whole world already knows about Algerian boxer Imane Khelif and the controversy surrounding her success at the Olympic Games in women's boxing.

After being accused of being transgender, it was revealed that Khelif was born a woman. Despite this, Khelif continued to receive harassment online. According to reports, she has filed a legal complaint against this online harassment.
«All that is being said about me on social media is immoral. I want to change the minds of people around the world,» Khelif explained.
Following her gold medal win, Khelif spoke on just how special this all is for her and her dream. Needless to say, it has been a whirlwind week.
«For eight years, this has been my dream, and I'm now the Olympic champion and gold medalist,» Khelif said. «That also gives my success a special taste because of those attacks. We are in the Olympics to perform as athletes, and I hope that we will not see any similar attacks in future Olympics.»
