Tony DeAngelo working to finalize contract with Eastern Conference Team
After only 1 season with the Philadelphia Flyers Tony DeAngelo found a way to overstay his welcome. Last week, DeAngelo found himself placed on unconditional waivers and bought out. Now it appears DeAngelo is already zeroed in on his next landing spot.
According to Carolina Hurricanes General Manager, Don Waddell the team is very interested in signing DeAngelo. Waddell also shared the two parties are closing in on a potential deal.
Yesterday Don Waddell shared the following information about a reunion with Tony DeAngelo.
#Canes are "definitely" interested in signing Tony DeAngelo and have had talks with his agent on how to make the money Work.
DeAngelo has played in 340 NHL games, 64 of those with Carolina. The Hurricanes are also reportedly very interested in adding Erik Karlsson via trade, so everything will ultimately come down to if they can make the money work.
